A few Makes for Christmas (aka Sorry, no exciting news!)

Well, I bet you have all been waiting with baited breath ;)....but I am so sorry, my little guy is flat out refusing to emerge! So here I am 41 weeks + 2 days and still no sign of any baby! I am booked in for an induction on Wednesday, so all being well I will have a new baby in my arms by the end of the week :)

While I have been waiting I decided to create a few makes ready for Christmas. I love the red and white colour scheme, which I usually do. (But I am also loving the Woodland theme that is on-trend this year! May have to do the Kitchen one theme and the Living Room / Dining Room the other!) Anyway, with my usual scheme in mind I prettied up a couple of bargain shop mirror effect word stickers and turned them into a framed picture. I mounted them onto candy-stripe paper, added a ribbon border and placed into a silver frame...

(With added sparkle -  Magic effect on my camera.)

...and when I was on The Crafty Pad Design Team, I was very inspired by my teamie Leesa's amazing Ribbon Trees. They are done in a similar style to the ribbon wreath's I like to create, so I thought I would make a Christmas style one using a polystyrene cone and red and white grosgrain ribbons, set into a little ribbon-embellished red bucket...

(Think I need to find a bigger star for the top though!)

Really pleased with how they turned out and it is great that I had time to fit in a few Chrimbo makes!

I will be adding these as my November Monthly Make over on the Flickr Group.

Hope you are all well and I promise not to post again until I have some stork related news! Thanks again for all your lovely comments on my last post - much appreciated as always.

Take care and back soon, (I hope!), my Raspberry Leaf Tea is calling me ;)

xx
