I'll apologise in advance...

...that the majority of my posts are going to be a bit party-orientated as I am in what I call 'Full Party-Planning Mode', where I am pretty much breathing party plans 24/7! I spend a lot of time researching and planning my kids birthday parties. It is a labour of love for me!  I prefer to create a theme based on what my kids are loving at the moment.

For my boys' birthdays, (they are 3 weeks apart, but they fall on 2 special dates this year), I have decided to have a joint party for them inbetween their 2 birthdays - that way hopefully everyone will be able to come!

I have a cool theme for them, incorporating their love of two things, but which totally works together. The colour palette is Red, Yellow & Blue. I pretty much start with a theme and a colour scheme and go from there...

I have purchased t-shirts ready for embellishing, 'Save the Date' laminated cards have been created ready for delivering and I have oodles of yellow and blue grosgrain ribbon ready to make a ribbon wreath for the door!

(I just need a huge roll of red and I'm good to go!)
Very excited about this wreath as it will be a double initial wreath with a twist!

These puffy smiley face stickers are just so cute and fit the theme perfectly, can't wait to create party decor with these!

I will also be revisiting my ribbon topiary tree, but this time I won't be using ribbon.  I will also re-post about the ribbon wreath, and other party decor as and when I create it. This party is going to be a lot of fun to create and I hope you will stop by and come on the journey with me!

You won't want to miss when I turn into 'Manic Party-Planning Mode', then 'Crazy-Lady Party-Planning Mode' :)

If anyone can guess correctly what the theme is then you will get an extra entry into my giveaway!

Hope you all have a fab weekend - I am off to do more research!

xx

  8. Looking forward to all posts, Twinkle Star:) always great stuff from you. The theme is a bit tricky for me as I'm not too sure on boys things with only having a girl but my guess is Mr Men x
